Materials You’ll Need:
- Worsted weight yarn in bright blue (for head, body, arms)

Start with black yarn.

Legs (Make 2 – Black Yarn):

Cape (Black & Bright Blue Yarn):
Using black yarn, ch 21. Work in rows, turning at end of each row. This forms the outer shell. You’ll then create a smaller lining in bright blue and sew them together.
- Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st across. (20) Ch 1, turn.
- Row 2-5: Sc in each st across. (20) Ch 1, turn.
- Row 6: Sc in first 3 st, inc in next st, (sc in next 4 st, inc in next st) x 3, sc in last st. (24) Ch 1, turn.
- Row 7-10: Sc in each st across. (24) Ch 1, turn.
- FO.
- Create a smaller inner cape piece with bright blue yarn, following similar increasing pattern but slightly smaller dimensions. Sew the black and blue pieces together along the edges, leaving the top open. Add a black border to the top if desired.
Assembly & Details:
- Sew the head to the body.
- Sew the arms to the sides of the body.
- Sew the legs to the bottom of the body.
- Sew the ears onto the sides of the head.
- Using black yarn, embroider Megamind’s eyebrows, goatee, and smile onto his face.
- Using light blue yarn, add a small stitch or two for the eye highlights.
- Attach the cape around his neck, using a few stitches to secure it.
