Crochet Pattern: Halloween Spooky Bracelet

Materials

  • DK weight yarn in Black, White, Red, and Skin-tone/Beige
  • Small amount of Black embroidery floss (for facial features)

Instructions

Bracelet Band (Black Yarn):

Start with a long enough chain to fit comfortably around your wrist, considering about 1 inch (2.5 cm) overlap for closure. For an average adult wrist (approx. 7 inches / 18 cm circumference) and a 4-stitch wide band:

Ch 5 (This will give you a band 4 sc wide).

R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch. (4 sc)

R2-X: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. (4 sc)

Repeat R2 until the band is your desired length. Approximately 6.5-7 inches (16.5-18 cm) or until it wraps around your wrist, leaving a small gap for the button closure.

Button Loop: At one end of the band, ch 5 (adjust length based on your button size), sl st into the last sc of the row. FO, weave in ends.

Button Placement: Sew the small button onto the opposite end of the band, aligning it with the button loop.

Spiderweb (White Yarn):

R4-6: Sc in each st around. (18) (3 rows)

R7: [Sc, dec] x 6. (12) (Lightly stuff the ghost)

R8: [Dec] x 6. (6)

FO, weave the tail through the remaining 6 stitches and pull to close. Weave in ends. Using black embroidery floss, stitch two small eyes onto the ghost’s ‘face’.

Vampire (Make 2):

Head/Body (Skin-tone Yarn):

R4-6: Sc in each st around. (18) (3 rows for head)

R7: [Sc, dec] x 6. (12) (Start stuffing head firmly)

FO, weave the tail through the remaining 6 stitches and pull to close. Weave in ends. Embroider small black eyes and a small mouth (or fangs) with black embroidery floss.

Hair (Black Yarn):

R1: Start with MR, 6 sc in MR. (6)

R2: [Inc] x 6. (12)

R3: [Sc, inc] x 6. (18)

Sl st to first sc. FO, leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the hair cap onto the top of the vampire’s head.

Cape (Red and Black Yarn):

Using Red Yarn, Ch 11.

R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 9 ch. (10 sc)

R2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across. (10 sc)

R3: Ch 1, turn, [inc, sc in next 4 sts] x 2. (12 sc)

Change to Black Yarn.

FO, leave a long tail for sewing. Gather the top (shorter) edge of the cape slightly and sew it around the vampire’s neck.

Spider (Black Yarn):

Body:

R1: Start with MR, 6 sc in MR. (6)

R2: [Sc, inc] x 3. (9)

R3: Sc in each st around. (9) (Lightly stuff)

FO, weave the tail through the remaining 6 stitches and pull to close. Weave in ends.

Legs (Make 8):

Ch 5. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 ch. (4 sc)

FO, leave a tail for sewing. Attach 4 legs on each side of the spider body, bending them slightly to give a realistic pose.

Assembly:
